Your Lens in Challenging Times

Hi there,

I’ve put this together for you to help you understand your profile in the context of how your primary and secondary lens may be influencing how you are responding to the covid-19 impact.

Read through your report to get a general feel for what the feedback is saying (if you haven’t already done so) and then click on the links below to read through your primary and secondary lens.

On each page a set of limiting and supporting beliefs will be presented that may help you identify if your underlying beliefs associated with your primary and secondary lens are either helping you or preventing you from responding, reacting and making decisions appropriately – are your beliefs and attitudes helping you stay calm and focused or causing you to be stressed, overwhelmed and panicked?

When you’re under pressure a large part of your decision making will be instinctive – meaning the part of your brain responsible for keeping you safe will dominate other parts of your brain in order to conserve energy.  Unfortunately the part of your brain that dominates also holds all habits and routines and these will kick in even if these habitual and routine way of thinking are not ideal for you.

At your fingertips you now have the data and insight you need to help you adapt your attitudes and beliefs to lead to a more resourceful way of responding.

And who knows – you just might find a better way of operating for long term benefit that extends well past this crisis situation.

Feel free to read through each lens if you like and take note of the recommended action provided.  If you put all the actions together you’ll end up with a solid framework for helping you navigate yourself and others through this challenging time.
