Being confined to a space no matter the size for an extended period of time can make you feel like the walls are closing in. Even if you are more of an introvert you too may be finding your safe space feeling smaller.
In a confined space energy starts to slow down and get stagnant. To shift this, finding small ways to open up your space will help get the energy flowing again and give you the recharge you need.
Look for areas of clutter to declutter as a cluttered space reflects a cluttered mind. Consider shifting furniture around to engage in your space in a new way. Identify one simple thing you can do outside that helps you to stop, slow down and breathe deeply.
Take a moment now to answer these questions:
- How can I shift the energy in my space through some simple changes? E.g. shifting some furniture around
- What can I declutter in my space to help me feel lighter and create energy flow?
- What ritual can I create for myself outside, in whatever space I have available, to help me recharge and breathe easily again?
Anything you can do to shift the way you move and operate in your space will create a shift in energy. Sometimes it can be as simple as opening up all the doors and windows and giving your space a good airing! Think of it as clearing out all the cobwebs in your mind.
Whenever you feel stagnant, stuck, or on edge, know that is your trigger for needing to create a shift in energy to get back into a state of flow.
Learning how to create flow now during these unsettling times will ensure you create a practice useful for when your new normal life resumes.
