Perhaps by now you have taken care of your own personal needs, at least enough to be able to look around and see what you can do to support someone around you. Each of us have skills, capabilities, knowledge, experience and resources at our disposal that can be useful to someone right now.
Take a moment to ask yourself:
Is there a friend or family members business I can support right now in some way? Or perhaps there’s a local business you can help?
How can I work with others to join forces, pool our resources together and fix a problem or challenge someone is experiencing?
What skills or capabilities do you have that can benefit another person, group or business over the coming weeks and months?
If you were to take a moment and think about some key challenges individuals, families, groups, communities and businesses are facing and may face going forward, maybe you could identify a way in which you can create a positive impact. In doing so, not only do you help someone else – you also get to experience a sense of fulfilment, meaning and purpose – valuable feelings to have during this unsettling time.
