
When you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, worried or frustrated it’s a sign that the way you are reacting and the choices you are making are not working the best for you. Irrespective of what is going on around us, what is happening in our external environment, we still have control over our internal world.
The constant choices we make each moment can either hold us hostage to the same frustrating pattern or help us create a better way.
Take a moment to ask yourself:
What simple actions do you need to start doing to help centre and ground you?
What current choices tend to lead to the same old unhelpful pattern of thinking or behaving that simply needs to stop?
What are you holding on to that you need to let go of because as much as you want to keep thinking it or doing it you realise it’s no longer useful, relevant or helpful?
Taking a moment to stop and evaluate how you are currently thinking and operating can be a very powerful way to begin steering yourself in a better direction.
Just because you have always done something a particular way does not mean you always should.
People grow, change, adapt and are constantly learning. If you find you are holding on to ways of being, thinking and doing that no longer serve you perhaps this is a sign that change is needed.
